FITNESS…
Party time is officially over!… what am I saying, that’s never going to happen!! But seriously, now that I’m home from my trip (where I didn’t even exercise once) it’s time to get back into my old regime. Bikram Yoga baby!!!! Oh yeah! I went yesterday for the first time in 3 weeks and holy shit was it a challenge!! But I LOVED every minute of it!! Trust me when I tell you that Bikram Yoga will literally make you sweat your ASS OFF!… which is just what this little latina lower half needs:-)!!! But for real, I started practicing Bikram (pronounced “bee kruhm”) yoga back in February and I swear that it’s changed my life!!… it’s actually one of the reasons why I moved to Manhattan Beach (I’m absolutely in love with the MB Bikram Yoga studio and it’s teachers). Since I’ve started practicing I’ve noticed a MEGA increase in my strength, flexibility, concentration and energy level. And a MEGA decrease in stress, weight, muscle tension and desire to wear anything other than a sports bra and bootie shorts (during practice of course!). You guys have got to try it… and then tell me how much you like it:-). After all, it IS bikini season!
